Mr. Tellez’s Freshmen Technology Game Design
To close out the 2023-2024 school year, Mr. Tellez’s freshmen Technology students were hard at work designing and coding their own games based on their own values and interests as part of their STEM2 project. This was a hands-on project based on interactive animations and games using the JavaScript language. Throughout this project, our Ritamen learned how to create variables to store information, create and manipulate sprites, and use conditionals, booleans, and functions.

Adan Hernandez
Directions: Press the arrow keys to move your car and avoid crashing into any of the moving cars. Pass 50 cars to win the game!
Ethan Gonzalez
Directions: Press the spacebar to pitch the baseball and drag the bat with your mouse to hit the baseball. See how many home runs you can hit without striking out!
Directions: Press the arrow keys to move the monkey and collect the bananas. Don't let the monkey fall! Keep yourself above the border or lose one of your lives. If you collect more than 50 bananas, you get a new background.
Yellow bananas = 1 point
Black bananas = 10 points
Peter Guzman
Directions: Press the arrow keys to maneuver the spaceship. Collect all of the aliens and avoid the asteroids.
Robert Rusch
Directions: Press the arrow keys to collect all of the coins. Don’t fall or you will lose one of your lives.
